INFORMATION ABOUT THE PRINT OPTIONS, PRICES & ORDERING
Limited edition prints
Welcome to my website, and thank you for your interest in my artworks. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions.
Artworks which are printed & produced as Lumachrome HD Acrylic / UltraHD Acrylic (get more information below and here) are offered as limited edition fine art prints only, and are limited to 25 prints in total per motive. The print number is assigned irrespective of the size of the print. The relatively small total print number per artwork was chosen to increase the value of the artworks and make them more attractive to passionate collectors of fine art.
Each print is digitally signed and numbered (for example 1/25, 2/25), usually at the right bottom of each artwork. My signature and the limited edition number embedded in the artwork count as my only "certificate of authenticity".
I withhold the number 1 print (therefore 1/25) of each run for myself or to sell at a later date. If passionate collectors are interested in the number 1 print, please get in touch.
Any of the artworks presented on this site will be used by me for online & printed marketing purposes, as well as in large wall calendars. None of my artworks are available as stock images.
Open edition prints
My artworks are also available as open edition prints (direct printing onto Alu-Dibond), but only in a set of three square artworks with one size each of 40cm x 40cm (16 x 16 inches). I am offering this more affordable set of three to people that are interested in my work but are not ready yet to choose the luxury, limited edition options.
Find out more about the print sizes & prices of the open edition print option here.
What do I mean with the term "Photo Art"
My photo art creations are my own original photographs (most of my photographs were taken using a digital camera), that are digitally enhanced, restyled, combined and/or altered in a computer using various software techniques, often involving many steps. The true orginal artwork is the final digital image on my computer's hard disk. My luxury-quality, limited-edition fine art prints are therefore produced from the original digital artwork using the best quality "laser light printing" on the market today ("laser light printing" is digital image exposure onto photographic film using a precise solid state laser).

Luxury quality fine art print production - limited editions only
To be able to offer the ultimate in luxury quality prints, I decided to use Lumachrome HD Photographic Prints under Acrylic Glass for the USA market. A Lumachrome HD print is the ultimate luxury fine art print, showcasing unsurpassed detail, incredible 3D dimensionality & vibrant colours. It comes ready to hang with a hidden floating mount at the back that gives a very modern look and is the most appropriate finishing for my type of artworks.
For the European market, I decided to use UltraHD Photo Prints under Acrylic Glass, which is just as vibrant & rich in detail as Lumachrome HD, but have slightly less 3D dimensionality. However, only the most discerning art critic may notice a difference. It comes ready to hang as well.
Your address will determine if the artworks are produced in the USA (using Lumacrome HD Acrylic) or in Germany (using UltraHD Acrylic). There is no difference in price.

Choose the right artwork
To choose a piece of fine art can be a difficult experience. If you are interested in one or more of my artworks, I will assist you to help realize the goals you have for displaying the most appropriate piece of fine art for a specific location at the best size.
You may already know what you want and what size you want it at. If so, that’s great! You’re able to order directly from the shopping galleries at any time to get the printing process started!
However, if you need assistance, regardless of whether it’s a single image in your home or to re-decorate an entire large office space, I am happy to help in any way I can to make the experience as comfortable and easy as possible! The first option may be to embed one or more of my artworks in photos you may send to me of your room space to create a mock-up of how my artwork will look in your home or office. I offer this service free of charge, without expecting any commitments from you to purchase may art afterwards.
Here are some examples of my artworks in homes & offices. I will be able to do something similar with photos from your own space.
The ordering process
This website does not use a traditional eCommerce shop where the check-out process is finalized on-site. I prefer the simplified system used here where the FINAL SHOPPING CART is hosted directly in PayPal (please take note that you do not need a PayPal account to use the PayPal platform with your credit card).
To purchase any of my artworks, go to the menu page SHOPPING GALLERIES to find the buttons that link directly to the various shopping galleries where you can purchase luxury prints in different sizes. To purchase a specific artwork at the size you prefer, select the correct size of that artwork then click the "Add to Cart" button. You will be re-directed to PayPal where the SHOPPING CART is hosted (please take note that you can only select artworks to purchase in the SHOPPING GALLERIES, and NOT in the art galleries).
If you only like to purchase one artwork at one size, finalize your order in PayPal.
However, if you like to order more than one artwork at a time, come back to this page before finalizing your payment in PayPal, and select additional artworks here and add them to the open PayPal shopping cart.
When you are ready to pay for all artworks selected, finalize your payment in PayPal.
I will contact you by email to confirm your payment, ordering details & delivery address, and proceed with arranging the printing of your chosen artwork. However, please take note that confirmations of your order may not take place immediately after you made a payment. I will therefore appreciate it if you send a short email after you made a payment specifying your full contact details & the details of your order.

My artworks are also available as open edition prints, but only in a set of three square artworks with one size each of 40cm x 40cm (16 x 16 inches). You may select any three artworks of your choice (with the exception of panoramic images).
The printing for the set of three artworks is done using hi-resolution direct printing onto a 3mm Alu-Dibond in a matt, non-reflective finish with vibrant natural colours, that is very durable and scratch-resistant. The artworks are ready to hang with a hidden aluminum floating rail in the back that lifts the artwork above the wall for a superb exhibition appearance.
The artworks for the set of three that originally do not have a square format will be cropped by me to the 1:1 aspect ration to best fit the image composition.

Copyright & signature
All of the rights are reserved by Wynand du Plessis for the artworks displayed on this website, and for his artworks purchased directly from him or from a 3rd party. The copyright of the artworks always remains with the artist as well. You may resell a physical print that you purchased, but may not photograph, scan or reproduce these artworks in any way.
Please take note that the signature name (watermark) on the artworks on this website are proportionally much larger and bolder than on the real prints. The reason for that is to discourage that my online artworks are being used without my permission or without reference to my ownership. Here is a large example of an artwork showing the real signature name and limited edition number in the correct proportions.
